Health & Productivity Management

Declaration

Mental and physical wellbeing is a prerequisite for employees in exercising their ability to think critically and be trustworthy human resources, creating a foundation for realizing our philosophy of “Turning Challenge into Value” and sustainable organizational growth. In addition, health is not just for work—it enriches life as a whole. We are developing a sustainable organization founded on physical and mental wellbeing that enables each and every employee, as well as their families, to live life in a positive, active manner.

Promotion Policy

In order to shape the future and make a serious effort to improve society by using various issues facing society as starting points, we are always moving forward and tackling challenges. We consider the mental and physical wellbeing of employees and their families as essential to realizing our management philosophy. Health and productivity management is therefore a key element of our management strategy. In our view, mental and physical wellbeing is a prerequisite for each employee to realize their full potential and fundamental to living their best life. Based on this belief, we promote health support measures aimed at maintaining and enhancing the mental and physical health of our employees and their families.

Details of Initiatives

Healthcare subsidy program

This program provides a subsidy of up to 100,000 yen per year, depending on the employee’s age, to cover the costs of voluntary health checks (complete physical exam, gynecological exam, etc.), detailed examinations for employees with high-risk health issues, smoking cessation clinics, etc.

︎Introducing telemedicine app

We have introduced a service that enables users to conduct telemedicine sessions as well as to consult a specialist such as a doctor or nurse about health-related problems. It can be used by family members (spouses, children, parents, parents-in-law) as well as employees, providing a system for resolving or minimizing health-related worries.

Non-smoker allowance

We are striving to reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases by giving employees who declare they will not smoke an allowance of 5,000 yen per year with the aim of promoting non-smoking.

Free use of gym

We are striving to reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases by allowing employees to use a sports gym operated by the group free of charge with the aim of promoting exercise.

Providing breakfast and lunch

We are striving to reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases by offering a healthy menu including options such as salad bowls.

Subsidizing club activity expenses

The company is striving to strengthen cross-departmental connections by subsidizing expenses related to club activities.

Refreshment leave allowance

We provide an allowance to employees if they take paid leave for five consecutive business days or more (after at least one year of consecutive service).

External Evaluations

Acquisition of 2026 Kenko Investment for Health Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) Certification

We acquired Kenko Investment for Health Outstanding Organization (Large Enterprise Category) certification in the Kenko Investment for Health Outstanding Organization recognition program promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nippon Kenko Kaigi (Japan Health Council).
This was the first year that we applied, but we obtained the certification due to favorable evaluation of our initiatives aimed at maintaining and enhancing the health of employees and their families, including the introduction of our telemedicine app and our healthcare subsidy program. Going forward, we will continue to promote health measures with the aim of maintaining and enhancing the mental and physical health of employees and their families so that they can lead active, positive lives.
